Cast in the second half of the 19th Century in the Sommevoire region just north east of Paris, this figure can be a water feature or a planter.

Antoine Durenne (1822 - 1895) was well known and respected for his large scale ornamental iron and bronze work which can still be seen on the streets of Paris and many other cities worldwide.
