Finely cast by the pre-eminent lead makers in England in the early part of the 20th century, this lead putti by the Bromsgrove Guild is an unknown model and may represent a part of a bespoke commission. Having an expressive face the putti proclaims holding high his music sheet, set now on a circular marble column on square base.
