Upon which Keats mused and also sketched, going on to write, ‘Ode on a Grecian urn’. The vases having swan neck handles with the main body embellished with Bacchic procession including Apollo, Artemis and Hermes, along with those brazen female worshippers of Dionysus, the Maenads. Raised upon a circular socle.
