Preview of the year to come...

With spring in mind, I thought the above 'Green Sheep' by Geraldine Knight was most appropriate to start this new format newsletter.

Apologies for our 'preview of the year' being so late - what with the new catalogue and our new website it's all been a bit much....

To start, it is always nice to be able to promote a book and garden in which we have been involved - so please see below details on Lord and Lady Heseltine's beautiful garden at Thenford.

To charity, we will be supporting  again this year a musical scholarship and a disabled children's horseriding camp, with all proceeds from valuations of sculpture and antique garden ornament benefitting these two worthy causes.

To events, information and links below to a succession of interesting exhibitions and shows that we will be attending this year, namely; The Gardens Illustrated Festival at Westonbirt Arboretum, The Cotswold Art and Antique Dealers' Association Fair at Blenheim Palace, The Cheslea Flower Show, Decorex International Design Show at Syon Park London and a trip to LA LA Land to say Hi to our American clients at the American Society of Landscape Architects' Conference.

To review, you will also see below a polite request to review 'Architectural Heritage' for 'Houzz' - a professional design website, anything you have to say will be much appreciated as we join the digital age.

To conclude, our Latest Stock email will follow soonest along with the results of the catalogue quiz for the Chelsea Flower Show Tickets.

As ever, thank you for your interest and I very much look forward to being assistance to you this year.

With best regards

Lord and Lady Heseltine's Garden at Thenford
We are proud to be associated with Thenford having supplied garden ornament and stone troughs over a number of years.

Today, the garden at Thenford has an arboretum which contains more than 3,500 different species of trees and shrubs, including rare plants which were wild-collected by well known plantsmen including Roy Lancaster OBE, Allen Coombes, Keith Rushforth and Chris Chadwell. It is also well-known for its sculpture garden.

The creation of an English Garden is the story of one garden and one family, over a 40-year time period.
In their own words, Michael and Anne Heseltine describe the ups and downs of how they set about transforming and expanding a wild, overgrown and often dilapidated woodland into the magnificent garden they have today.

The book beautifully illustrated over 320 pages tells the personal story of the creation of an extraordinary garden, which will delight horticultural experts and novices alike.
