The Baroque Seat
A highly carved natural limestone garden seat, after the 18th century original having paw foot end supports with arabesque and acanthus decoration. The centre panel with armorial plaque is flanked by blind strap work. The curved top rail has a central grotesque mask surrounded by profusely carved swags, grapes and flowers. Reproduction.
